The Role:

As our Personal Tax Senior, you’ll skilfully manage client portfolios, building strong relationships and offering insightful tax guidance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Timely and accurate preparation and execution of personal tax returns.
  • Proactive tax planning and development of mitigation strategies for clients.
  • Effective communication with clients and HMRC.
  • Staying current on tax legislation to identify potential benefits.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven track record in a similar personal tax role within an accounting practice.
  • Excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in tax/accounting essential, formal qualifications preferred.
  • Due to the client-facing nature of this role, occasional on-site presence at short notice may be necessary. Ideal candidates would live within a distance that allows for quick travel to our Chester office.

Salary: Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Location: Chester, Full-time/Part-time considered.
